Activist boat Ady Gil rammed by Japanese whaler

A Japanese whaler vessel Shonan Maru No 2 has been accused of ramming a Sea Shepherd Conservation Society boat the Ady Gil, cutting the nose off the vessel. All six members on board were rescued but 1.5 million dollar catamaran was seriously damaged.

The video footage clearly shows the whaler vessel aiming for the smaller vessel, check it out below.

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society sends ships to the Antartica in an effort to stop Japanese whaler boats capturing whales under the guise of scientific research.
